In 2021, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars announced a significant move that would shape its future. They declared their commitment to electric technology by introducing Spectre, an all-electric car. Customer deliveries of Spectre will commence in late 2023. The company also stated that their entire lineup would be electric by 2030.
Since this announcement, Spectre underwent rigorous testing, covering a distance of 2.5 million kilometers. In October of the previous year, Spectre was unveiled in England, receiving positive feedback globally.
Now, ahead of upcoming customer deliveries, Spectre makes its ASEAN debut in Singapore on 22 August. This marks the first appearance of the superluxury electric super coupe in the region. Spectre will tour the region, providing a chance for clients and media to get up close to the car and experience Rolls-Royce's electric future.
Spectre marks a new chapter for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and their shift to electric vehicles. The vehicle embodies a promise fulfilled and showcases the brand's electric ambitions. Rolls-Royce has a history with electric tech, with co-founder Charles Rolls envisioning an electric future in 1900. The brand displayed electric concepts in the past, like the 102EX and 103EX, indicating their electric direction.
