And it even features a deployable viewing suite at the boot to watch your kids in absolute royalty

Back in 2015, Rolls-Royce declared, whilst being careful not to use the word SUV, that they would create a “high-bodied” luxury car that would break into the SUV portfolio space for the luxury marque.

Named after the world’s largest diamond ever discovered, the aptly named Rolls-Royce Cullinan aims to resonate with flawless quality, purposeful clarity and preciousness. Like the 3,106-carat gemstone, the mammoth Cullinan dwarfs even the biggest in luxury SUV such as the Bentaygas and QX80s. Exuding the hallmark of royalty and the truly wealthy, it embodies generations of success in an Imperial class of its own. To put that into perspective, 2 of the biggest cuts of the original Cullinan diamond reside on the British Imperial Crown and Sovereign’s Sceptre with cross. There is no doubt that the Rolls-Royce version will be fit for the queen and country likewise.

As promised from 2018, every Rolls-Royce will be made of the all-new aluminium space frame – ditching the heavy steel of the past and carving into a new era of better fuel-efficiency. At over 5500mm, it is one of the largest vehicles in its class. Its improved rigidity and power-to-weight ratio is aimed to redefine its highly prized magic carpet ride, coupled with its latest dynamic air suspension.

While it is speculative that the new Cullinan will be powered by an established V12 mated to an 8-speed automatic, concrete details will be revealed during launch. Meanwhile, Rolls-Royce has teased that the Cullinan comes with a viewing suite - automatic rear folding seats in the boot that you probably wouldn’t find in any other automaker. After all, they pioneered umbrellas in doors.

Who else could have thought that a couple of beautiful seats and a table would complete your high-bodied experience?
