The new Cayenne is a wholly new development featuring powerful turbo engines, its all-new 8-speed Tiptronic S gearbox, and its cutting-edge technological updates will take both its stunning sport performance and everyday comfort to the next level.

Ever since the Cayenne’s launch in 2002, more than 760,000 units have been sold all over the globe, and more than 1,000 vehicles were sold in Singapore. The Cayenne continues to an important role in contributing to the success of Porsche.

The new Cayenne is available in Singapore with a choice of the new V6 turbo, V6 twin-turbo, and the V8 twin-turbo models boasting 250 kW (340 hp), Cayenne S 324 kW (440hp) and the superstar of the premiere, the Cayenne Turbo with 404 kW (550 hp). The all-new Cayenne Turbo’s V8 twin-turbo engine is a new generation with 770 Nm of torque. It also has a new 8-speed Tiptronic S gearbox, enabling the Cayenne Turbo, in 3.9 seconds, to accelerate from zero to 100 km (with the ever-popular Sport Chrono Package) and reach its top speed of 286 km per hour.

Improved performances and practicality

The new innovative technologies that are introduced in the new Cayenne offers improvements in the driving performance. The Porsche Surface Coated Brake (PSCB) is the all-new brake system with discs that are made of an exceptionally strong tungsten carbide coating that works hand-in-hand with Porsche’s uniquely developed brake pads. In comparison to conventional grey cast iron brakes, the PSCB’s longevity is extended by 30 per cent and is constructed to withstand extreme stress, delivering stable braking and an improved response time.

This new technology enables the pads to polish the surface of the discs to a glossy shine, reducing the brake dust produced and generating a mirror-like finishing after around 600 kilometres of everyday driving.

Besides that, the new Cayenne Turbo is the first SUV to present an adaptive roof spoiler. This new adaptive roof spoiler is part of the Porsche Active Aerodynamics that has a seamless continuation with the contours of the vehicle’s roof. Drivers will now be able to get a sportier and safer driving experience with the new adaptive roof spoiler that is able to deploy an all-new air brake technology.

Greater manoeuvrability and increased stability

The new Cayenne’s rear-axle steering provides greater manoeuvring and at low speeds, this new feature enables the axle to steer in opposite orientations, while at higher speeds, the axle steers in the same direction, improving the agility and precision-handling capabilities.

The Porsche 4D Chassis Control improves the new Cayenne’s stability and driving performance with a central control unit through a networked system that examines 3D driving situations. The Porsche Dyanmic Chassis Control (PDCC) adds greater stability and sets new guidelines and norms in the field of driving dynamics. To further stabilize the Cayenne and decreases its rolling movement, the PDCC adjusts the stiffness of stabilisers in axles.

Visual and practical improvements in the front and rear

Without deviating too much from its predecessor, the new Cayenne looks much lower, longer, wider, and with much bigger wheels. At the front, it now has four-point daytime lights in its distinct LED headlights display the latest LED technology. Its rear boasts a wide rear end with integrated 3D LED technology and four-point brake lights with a unique light strip and a 3D Porsche logo.

Porsche’s driver-centric interior

With just a small foot movement below the Cayenne’s rear bumper, its tailgate will open to reveal the adjustable luggage compartment (770 litres to 1,710 litres). Keyless locking and unlocking of the vehicle, along with keyless ignition is possible with Porsche’s Comfort Access feature.

The Advanced Cockpit of the Porsche offers a totally new type of interaction between the driver and the vehicle. The Porsche Communication Management (PCM) comprises a multifunctional steering wheel that controls the on-board computer, a central console that operates certain functions with Direct Touch Control, and a glossy 12-inch full HD touchscreen display. These aesthetic improvements are further enhanced with premium quality glass as well as touch-sensitive buttons, providing access to essential functions.

Monitoring the performance of the car is also easily accessible with the new Cayenne’s analogue rev counter that is flanked by two full-HD screens, Power and Drive, to the left and right respectively which can be controlled by the multifunctional steering wheel.

For drivers who seek heightened driving dynamics and direct responsiveness, the Sport Chrono Package with Mode Switch comes as an additional option that enables them to switch from the Normal driving modes to the Sport and Sport Plus mode. This allows the driver to have more options to choose from to personalise their driving experiences. Furthermore, the driver is able to preset and store their individualized setups and later on retrieve them at the rotation of the mode switch.

All in all, the new Cayenne integrates an even sharper design, greater performance and power, along with new innovations that makes it a true leader in its category.

The all-new Cayenne is now available for reservation! Do note that the fuel consumption, emissions, and its VES band would be determined upon homologation in Singapore.
