Unveiled: BMW Zagato Coupe
For BMW the Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupé wasn't the only concept they had up their sleeve at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este. They unveiled the BMW Zagato Coupé which was designed in collaboration with Zagato. The Zagato Coupé is a different take on the idea of a two-seater BMW built for sport and style. With a long hood, rearward cabin and Kammback, the Zagato Coupé has classic proportions, with modern details. BMW has already put the Zagato Coupé in high-speed testing.
According to Zagato's Chief Designer, Norihiko Harada, the Zagato Coupé exudes a certain spontaneity which when combined with the type of unconventional solutions typical of Zagato, give the car individual elegance.
