Officially introduced in Singapore on 2 February 2018 are Maserati’s new 2018 Quattroporte and Levante S Petrol.

The 2018 Quattroporte now delivers 430 hp and 580 Nm peak torque, 20 hp and 30 Nm more than the car it replaces. The increased power output grants Maserati’s flagship saloon a top speed of 288 km/h and significantly improved acceleration. The Quattroporte’s classically proportioned exterior has been elegantly enhanced with new front and rear bumpers and an Alfieri-inspired front grille with vertical chrome elements, further accentuating the marque’s now signature ‘sharknose’ effect.

The Quattroporte’s headlights now incorporate Adaptive Full LED technology. The introduction of Electric Power Steering (EPS) improves the car’s handling and comfort, with better support for each of the car’s five driving modes. The EPS system also enables the introduction of enhanced active safety functions in the form of Maserati’s Advanced Driving Assistance Systems (ADAS), while retaining Maserati’s renowned razor-sharp steering feel.

The Quattroporte also adopts a new Integrated Vehicle Control (IVC) system, developed in collaboration with Bosch. This enhancement to the Electronic Stability Programme brings aerospace technology to the driving experience. By preventing rather than simply correcting for loss of control, IVC provides enhanced active safety and driving dynamics, better performance and a more enjoyable experience for the driver.

The MY18 Levante S also adopts the new EPS and ADAS systems. The Levante S was also the first Maserati model to feature Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Forward Collision Warning Plus (FCW Plus), Advanced Brake Assist system (ABA), Lane Departure Warning system and Surround View Camera.

“The Quattroporte is Maserati’s flagship model and remains the quintessential sports limousine, the raft of enhancements made to the new MY18 version will reinforce this positioning further.” says Nick Syn, spokesperson for Tridente Automobili. “We are also confident that the enhancements made to the MY18 Levante range will help to capitalise on the market share gains in the premium SUV segment that we have realised thus far.”

The event will be held on 2 February at the Maserati Showroom at 30 Leng Kee Road. Invited guests will have the exclusive opportunity to test drive the full updated Maserati range during the event.
