Homegrown car-sharing service Tribecar has officially acquired Popular Rent a Car, bringing in an additional 400 cars to the group. This acquisition comes after acquiring Car Club in March this year.

WhizzCar, one of the pioneers in the local car-sharing industry serviced under Popular Rent a Car, will also be part of Tribecar’s car-sharing fleet of over 1,300 vehicles as they continue to serve their existing customers.

This advancement will benefit members of WhizzCar and Tribecar as they enjoy an increased array of transport options and booking locations available to them. WhizzCar members can also look forward to various Tribecar’s existing products and services, including TribeTravels, which offers discounts for attraction tickets when bundled with a vehicle rental, subscription plans and season passes.

Members of WhizzCar will have access to all services under Tribecar’s platform by mid-November 2022.
