Toyota is ready for 2017 with new line-up

With increased affluence, more well-travelled consumers are taking bigger steps to explore new frontiers and excitement. Gone are those days where a simple saloon cars was the biggest source of pride when it comes to comparing who is doing better. The drivers of today are a complex lot. They want boot space. They demand performance and quality. They pine for larger cars that are economical in every sense. And Toyota has made all these possible with its product line-up for 2017.   Mirror Harrier     At the Singapore Motorshow 2017, Toyota offered a sneak preview of the Mirror Harrier, a concept Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) that is likely to become a reality in the coming days. Since its debut in 1997, the Harrier has won the motoring arena over its built, quality and performance as a high-end SUV. With a sleek body profile and  aggressive front end that made the Harrier so recognisable, the SUV is often quoted by industry players as the "Elegant Velocity". C-HR The All-New Coupe-High Rider, or C-HR for short, will be Toyota’s booster in the increasingly-saturated crossover market. Unveiled at the 2016 Geneva motor show, the C-HR boasts a distinctive style that merge newfound dynamism and sensuality into one that has never been experienced in the crossover segment. Its diamond architectural theme body with prominent wheel arches emphasises on the crossover’s strength and rigidity. Viewed from any angle, the C-HR’s combination of facetted gemstone-like shapes with fluid surfaces and elegantly integrated detailing creates a delicate balance of precision and sensuality. The C-HR is powered by a new 1.2-litre turbo engine, which is mated to a Continuously Variable Transmission system. According to insiders’ reviews, the C-HR offers excellent body control and steering fluidity, thanks to the meticulous refinement of Toyota’s most recent TNGA platform and its low centre of gravity. The C-HR’s official launch date will be announced separately. Feasting your eyes on this new model is the only thing you can do for now. Previa Aeras Almost always a hot favourite amongst drivers with battalion-sized families, the latest-generation of the Previa Aeras is designed to provide a seamless and comfortable driving experience for its drivers and passengers. Its distinctive elegant design speaks volume of its refined indulgence, both in a dynamic exterior as well as a luxurious interior. With the introduction of the latest Previa Aeras, Borneo Motors now offers a complete range of Toyota MPVs for every segment. (The Previa Aeras) Wish A smaller sibling of the Previa Aeras is the Wish, which is a noticeably smaller MPV and yet, a perennial favourite with Singaporean families. The Wish not only provides generous space to cater to diverse needs, it is  also one that delivers impressive performance. The Wish is closely followed by the luxurious Alphard and Vellfire, both of which are known for their boss-favoured travel experience. What makes the Sienta so cool is its dual-powered sliding doors and the various versatile seating configurations that kids may not even know that their play area is actually in the car. SUVS The mega-sized Fortuner raises the bar with commanding power, space and comfort. The RAV4, as always, stands apart from the rest, whether on and off the road.
