Toyota GAZOO Racing GT Cup Asia 2024 Kicks Into Higher Gear

Team Legion of Racers (LOR) is ready to compete in the Toyota GAZOO Racing GT Cup Asia 2024 in Malaysia on 12-13 October, with five team members earning spots in the finals after strong showings in Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines. In the Singapore finals on 16 August, LOR's Dillan Tan secured second place but will miss the Asia finals due to other commitments, while teammate Jayden Liaw finished fifth.

New format

The Toyota GAZOO Racing GT Cup 2024, played on Gran Turismo 7 for PlayStation, determines winners based on cumulative points from three races. In the Philippines, a new format was introduced where participants set their fastest times to qualify for sprint races. LOR racers Luis Moreno and Enzo Ison performed exceptionally, securing first and second place in the national finals on 18 August.

Prizes for top racers based on cumulative points were as follows:

• Singapore: Tan earned SGD 2,000 with 40 points.
• Indonesia: Moreno received RP 18,000,000 with 50 points, and Andika earned RP 13,000,000 with 44 points.
• Philippines: Luis won PHP 100,000 with 70 points, and Enzo earned PHP 75,000 with 49 points.

Team Legion of Racers is poised to make a strong showing at the Toyota GAZOO Racing GT Cup Asia 2024.
