This Mercedes-Benz Showcase at Raffles City Will Exhibit The Brand’s Electric Dreams

We’ve already experienced how Hyundai has attempted to educate the public on EV servicing. Now, it’s Merc’s turn to reveal what it has up its sleeves. It has unveiled an all-electric vehicle pop-up at Raffles City Shopping Centre from now to 30 August, while from 1 to 3 September, consumers can look forward to Mercedes-Benz’s newest electric vehicle launch on display. Titled Crafted for the Future: The Mercedes-Benz Showcase, the event is part of Mercedes-Benz’s aim to drive awareness about electric vehicles and sustainable mobility in Singapore’s urban environment.

To further enhance the experience, visitors can also engage in sustainability-oriented workshops and view art installations made from upcycled auto parts and waste materials, aligning with Mercedes-Benz's commitment to environmental consciousness.

The event aims to raise awareness about electric vehicles and promote sustainable mobility possibilities within Singapore's urban context. Additionally, during September 1st to 3rd, Mercedes-Benz will introduce their latest electric vehicle model as part of this initiative.

Visitors have the opportunity to test-drive the electric vehicles on display, and to complement the focus on sustainability, Mercedes-Benz has collaborated with local artists to create environmentally conscious art installations.

Workshops centered on sustainability will be available, including crafting natural scent pouches from fabric off-cuts and creating custom key tags from repurposed denim. Those interested in these sessions can register on the Mercedes-Benz Singapore website at no cost.

Mercedes-Benz has partnered with SP Mobility, and EV owners who attend the showcase will receive complimentary charging credits of 30kWh, with SP Mobility purchasing MyGreenCredits to offset the carbon emissions produced during charging and contributing to the National Parks Board's OneMillionTrees initiative.

The Crafted for the Future: The Mercedes-Benz Showcase runs from now to 30 August and 1 to 3 September at Raffles City Shopping Centre #01-01, from 10AM to 9.30PM.
