OneShift’s 2024 Year In Review for news that shaped Singapore’s automotive landscape sprung a couple of surprises, but the industry’s heavy hitters don’t always leave us plenty to ponder. BMW Group added the likes of BMW i5 Touring, iX1 and iX2 to their BEV portfolio, without compromising on more familiar ICE offerings such as the 2 and 4 Series Coupe. M Division didn't hold back too, with the M4 CS and M5 headlining the performance arm's high-flying acts.

MINI heavily refreshed its family in 2024, introducing the Cooper, Countryman, Aceman and Cooper 5 Door. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars had UHNWIs covered with the Cullinan Series II.

What new BMW and MINIs can we expect in 2025?

BMW M5 Touring

Most of the models are scheduled to arrive in the first half of 2025, headlined by the stretched version of the M5. The M5 sedan would set you back 750 grand if you placed an order in November 2024 - the M5 Touring would not be pitched far off this figure we reckon.

BMW iX

Our test drive of the BMW iX xDrive40 Sport Launch Edition in 2022 left us praising its build quality and comfort. It's due for a refresh in the first half of 2025.

2 Series Gran Coupe

We’ve seen compact 2 Series coupes launched in Q4 2024. It will be time for its Gran Coupe siblings to make its mark in 2025.

BMW X3

Save your dates from 9 to 12 January 2025 for the Singapore Motorshow - that’s where BMW will showcase their new BMW X3. Here’s what we know about all 3 variants so far.

BMW 116

We’re already aware that the new M135 xDrive hotshot costs upwards of 300 grand in a press release issued in November 2024. But we’ve received confirmation that more 1 Series variants will arrive. It should all be mild hybrid-equipped.

MINI Convertible

Exact variants for our market are TBC (C, S and JCW options currently on the plate), but they’ll be powered by a 2.0-litre turbo, in different states of tune. Soft top closes in a brisk 15 seconds.
