The Highly Anticipated CUPRA Born Compact EV Could Officially Arrive In Singapore Very Soon

If you’ve been religiously on YouTube searching for car reviews to pass time, chances are that you’ve also been wondering why certain brands or models, given their appealing prospects, haven't gained a strong foothold in Singapore.

CUPRA, we reckon, is one such brand. Headquartered in Barcelona, it falls under the Volkswagen Group umbrella and offers sporty, sometimes quirkier alternatives to more mainstream cars in the VW Group stable. Our reviews of the CUPRA Leon, Ateca and Formentor suggest that despite their roots derived from a family responsible for no less than 10 brands, they are comfortable in their own skin, too.

It has gone a bit quiet since then in the local context, but fret not, because from 1 June 2023 onwards, Volkswagen Group Singapore will be the exclusive distributor and service centre for CUPRA, and authorised service centre for SEAT, replacing Vertex Euro Motors.

CUPRA owners who have outstanding complimentary servicing packages can complete their packages with Volkswagen Group Singapore on the same terms and conditions as stated at time of vehicle sale. SEAT owners who have outstanding complimentary servicing packages are advised to claim their packages with Vertex Euro Motors.

Special deals await

To welcome CUPRA and SEAT owners to the fold, Volkswagen Group Singapore has launched a series of special service packages and promotions.

From now until 31 January 2024, CUPRA and SEAT owners are entitled to enjoy a complimentary 24-point vehicle health check at Volkswagen Group Singapore’s service centre.

From now until 31 August 2023, the first 100 CUPRA and SEAT owners to register their vehicles with Volkswagen Group Singapore stand to enjoy three Pre-paid Service and Repair Packages (PSRP) at the price of two.
