T2 Motorsports won debut endurance race with Ferrari 488 GT3
Last December was a month of celebration and jubilation for T2 Motorsports, the first cross-straits racing team that garnered some of the finest automobile personalities from Singapore and Indonesia. The newly-founded racing team, a first-time entrant of the Motul Sepang 12 hours Endurance Race, took the win in the Amateur Class and finished 11th overall. The race was a tumultous one; heavy rain pelted on the tarmac throughout the 289 laps. Whilst many agreed that such extremely poor weather conditions would have put off even the gutsy and experienced racers, T2 Motorsports, which raced with only three drivers, took everything in their stride, crossing the finish line at the stroke of midnight. Singaporean and team co-founder, Gregory Teo, who was driving the last stint of the race, remarked: "We came into our first endurance race with an open mind. My main objective was to complete the 12-hours race. So to finish with such a good result is a fantastic start for the team. More importantly, it was an incredible team effort from everyone in T2 Motorsports." T2 Motorsports, which raced the Ferrari 488 GT3, was founded by entrepreneurs Gregory Teo and David Tjiptobiantoro.
