smart #1 Compact Electric SUV Now Available In Singapore

The stage is set - since Cycle & Carriage was appointed as the primary distributor, the smart #1 Pro+ and smart #1 BRABUS will become the company's first EV offerings in Singapore. It’s tailored for urban driving and city living, which makes Singapore a relevant market. So relevant in fact, that smart has chosen this island nation to house its global HQ.

Smart move

Smart has undergone a comprehensive overhaul, establishing a system for product development, sales and services management. This new generation of EV is led by smart's R&D team, with vehicle design overseen by Mercedes-Benz Global.

Tell me more about the smart #1 Pro+

It offers a range of over 400km and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds. Its interior is optimised for space without compromising on flair - frameless doors, a floating halo roof, ambient lighting and a floating centre console dominate the experience. There’s also a customised infotainment interface with AI-based voice control and a dedicated app.

How about the smart #1 BRABUS?

As with most cars fettled by BRABUS, it’s kitted with a specially-tuned chassis, BRABUS- designed seats, Alcantara-lined steering wheel and plated pedals. Just like what we’d expect from BRABUS when the shackles are off, peak power is rated at 428hp, which gives it the shove to reach 100km/h from scratch in 3.9 seconds.

Hang on, that’s not all from smart…

Ahead of the opening of the showroom at Level 3 of the Mercedes-Benz Centre in the second half of 2024, there’ll be the official car launch at VivoCity in April, along with pop-up events in popular shopping malls. smart will also partner with events like Sunset Cinema at Tanjong Beach, Sentosa and institutions such as LASALLE College of the Arts.
