Silent Comfort From The New Dunlop SP Sport LM 705
A weekend of wheels and tyres for us at Tyrepac’s product launch! Dunlop launches their new SP Sport LM 705. Designed to deliver a comfortable and silent ride, the SP Sport LM 705 replaces the SP Sport LM 704, with improvements engineered to deliver even more from where its predecessor left off.
Key to its design is a reworked sidewall which allows for more flex, enabling the SP Sport LM 705 to absorb even more of what the road throws at it. This results in a 10% improvement in absorption of bumps. Adding to comfort, the SP Sport LM 705 range features a new thread pattern, with larger blocks, helping to suppress vibration.
A rounder footprint, where the tyres hit the road gradually from the centre to outward manner, works in tandem with the already softer sidewall design and new thread design; delivering benefits of a 24% decrease in road noise.
New to the tyre design, is an innovative groove wall serration, which decreases pattern noise by an additional 26%.
Dunlop’s new SP Sport LM 705 is available through Tyrepac in most tyre sizes (a total of 51), from 13” to 20”.
Also announced during the tyre launch, and on display are an extensive range of rims, which Tyrepac distributes. Various offsets for different rim designs have been factored during importation, ensuring that buyers will easily find the correct fit.
