SG: Van driver to be charged for causing hurt

A van driven by 31 year old Mohamed Mahadisyah Mohamed Rasid crashed into a stationary lorry, which killed two workers sitting at the back the truck. Rather than stop to provide assistance, he is believed to have fled the scene. The accident took place on the 12th January this year, which saw Mr Abu Bakar Siddique and Robin Miah Idris Ali lose their lives. The SCDF crew had to extricate the workers with hydraulic tools since they were stuck in the wreckage. They were pronounced dead on scene. On top of that, Mohamed Mahadisyah will also be charged with causing hurt to a pedestrian due to his rash act.
