SG: Tipper truck tilts into sinkhole

SG: Tipper truck tilts into sinkhole

A depression opened up on the centre lane of Upper Changi Road East (in direction towards Expo), causing a tipper lorry that happened to drive pass to tilt into the hole. The incident occurred on the 24th of April at 8.30am, and thankfully, no one was hurt. To make sure motorists using the road are safe, 2 lanes were immediately closed to traffic and the truck was recovered. The sinkhole will be repaired by the LTA. This incident is not expected to impact the construction progress of the Downtown Line 3.Pictures used for illustration purposes only.
