SG: Road rage on the decline

According to statistics provided by the police, the number of road rage incidents have decreased as compared to the same period just last year. In 2014, 53 cases were reported in the first 9 months, as compared to the 71 in 2013. The significant drop in the number of cases can be attributed to the introduction of stiffer sentences, along with the growing number of in-car cameras. Whilst Singaporeans are still involved in the odd incident(think the road rage incident with the Honda Civic from earlier this year), experts revealed that foreigners are getting involved in similar incidents too, although their claims have not been backed up by official statistics.
