SG: Road Closures for 2015 Singapore Grand Prix

The 7th running of the Singapore Grand Prix will be held from the 18 to 20 September 2015. Race organisers have made arrangements to ensure minimal traffic disruptions and improve accessibility to allow members of the public to carry on their normal daily activities in the Marina Centre area while enjoying the race excitement. Affected road will be closed from 12.01am, 16 September (Wednesday) to facilitate the set up of race infrastructure. Expect roads to be reopened post-race on the 22nd of September. Taxis will be given access to closed off portions of roads, whilst those utilise the MRT to get to their destinations can be so more conveniently, thanks to the extension of operating hours of public transport services. Several key roads will be opened during peak hours to allow traffic through. These are as follows:

a) Orchard bound: Collyer Quay, St Andrew’s Road and Stamford Road
b) CBD bound: Nicoll Highway and Esplanade Drive
c) CBD bound: Republic Avenue, Republic Boulevard and Bayfront Avenue

Saturday (19 September), from 5.30am to 9.30am

a) CBD bound: Nicoll Highway and Esplanade Drive

Monday (21 September), from 5.30am to 9.30am

a) CBD bound: Nicoll Highway and Esplanade Drive
b) CBD and Airport bound: Bras Basah Road, Raffles Boulevard, Bayfront Avenue, Republic Avenue and Republic Boulevard

Monday (21 September), from 5pm to 8.30pm

a) CBD bound: Nicoll Highway and Esplanade Drive
b) CBD and Airport bound: Bras Basah Road, Raffles Boulevard, Bayfront Avenue, Republic Boulevard and Republic Avenue
c) Orchard and Kallang bound: Collyer Quay, Esplanade Drive, Stamford Road and Nicoll Highway
d) ECP bound: Bayfront Avenue, Temasek Avenue, Raffles Boulevard and Republic Boulevard (new opening for 2014)
