SG: Revised ERP rates
Great news for users of the ECP! From the 5th of May, revised rates will see one paying almost a whole dollar less on their daily commute. The 2 gantries, located along the citybound ECP and Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway, have had their ERP rates reduced after a quarterly review of traffic conditions. Further on the ECP, the gantries on the westbound MCE, the ones before the Maxwell Road exit and on the slip road to Marina Coastal Drive, will see a $1 drop from 8:30am to 9:00am. Users who use the ECP and KPE to head back home in the evening should have something to rejoice too, for they wouldn’t have to pay anything if they passed the gantry before 8pm. After 8, the rate has been reduced by 50 cents. The expressways that span the east and CBD aren’t the only ones with alterations to the rates. The CTE is affected too. The 4 gantries that lead traffic to the southbound CTE will also see a drop of $1. The rate is now $4. The only gantry to have an increased ERP rate is the one located along the sliproad to PIE (Changi) or Serangoon Road. Due to increased traffic flow, the rate will be raised $1 from 9:00am to 9:30am.
