SG: New emissions regulations for motorcycles

NEA has raised the emission regulations for new motorcycles. Currently, all new motorcycles must meet the Euro I emission standards. The new regulations means new motorcycles must now meet the more modern and eco-friendly Euro III standard. This move is made in a bid to reduce the amount of pollutants in the air, to meet the guidelines set by the World Health Organisation. NEA will also work closely with authorised vehicle inspection centres to make sure motorcycles comply with the law. Failure to do so could result in a fine of up to $5,000.Pictures used for illustration purposes only.
