SG: ERP rates to increase.

ERP rates will increase by $1 or 50 cents during various time frames at seven gantries island-wide. The new rates will be implemented on the 5th of August, and gantries along the CTE and the ECP will be affected. Four affected gantries along the southbound route of the after Braddell Road and on the Pan-Island Expressway slip road into the southbound CTE will see a $1 surcharge from 7am, to 7.30am, up $1, and it will cost a motorist $5 from 7.30am to 8am, up from $4. The southbound route isn’t the only route that is affected. The northbound CTE will see an increase in rates ranging from 50 cents to $1 from 5.30pm to 6pm, and from $1 to $2 from 6pm to 6.30pm. Two gantries along the ECP will go up by $1 to $6 between 8.30am and 9am. Looks like the motoristst would just have to bear with the added cost for now, for the next rate review will be in November.
