SG: Driver that caused fatal crash arrested

A crash on early national day morning saw the passing of 4, after an Odyssey ploughed into a strickened Toyota Wish. The occupants of the Wish got out of the car and stood behind it while waiting for assistance when they were struck by the passing Honda. The driver of the Honda, a 34 year old man, has been arrested for dangerous driving causing death, and his driving licence has been suspended. The fatal accident saw three members of a Korean family and a Singaporean die. The Toyota Wish suffered a flat tyre and thus had to stop on the shoulder on the CTE close to the Yio Cho Kang exit. The driver of the Odyssey claimed that he had suffered from chest and head pain as a result of the crash and was conveyed to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital for treatment.
