SG: Driver of GTR caught for speeding

A blue GT-R was caught speeding by an impromptu road block set up along Seletar Link in the wee hours of yesterday morning. The driver, believed to be in his 20s, recorded speeds of up to 146 km/h, or about slightly more than twice the legal limit. He was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.  The road blocks were set up islandwide on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day to clamp down on errant motorists. Six were arrested for serious traffic violations, which included acts of dangerous driving and drink driving. Pictures used for illustration purposes only.
