SG: Bedok Integrated Transport Hub officially opened

Bedok’s Integrated Transport Hub has officially opened its doors to passengers on Sunday! The facility is the largest of its kind in Singapore, and connects Bedok MRT station with the bus interchange and Bedok Mall. It will serve 40,000 commuters spread across 29 bus services daily. This is also the first Intergrated Transport Hub to incorporate energy-saving features, which include the installation of LED lighting for the driveway and bus park areas. The hub was built to make travel more convenient, and to supplement the Bus Service Enhance Programme, as more than half of the 1,000 additional buses have already been made road worthy, and some of the buses have formed the fleets of up to 30 new bus services, introduced to step up connectivity.Pictures used for illustration purposes only.
