SG: 4 vehicles collide outside Somerset MRT

Four vehicles, consisting of an SBS bus, an SUV and two taxis, were involved in a pileup outside Somerset MRT station yesterday. The owner of the SUV, 42-year old Mr Lim, said that the collision started with a taxi that braked violent in an attempt to avoid a trailer which was parallel parking at the construction site close to 313@Somerset. The crash did not hurt Mr Lim, but it did hurt his ride, when it was slammed by an SBS Transit bus from the rear. The bus did not drive away without damage too; the crash damaged the front of the bus and smashed its windscreen.
