SG: 2 charged for removing car emblems

24 year old Timothy Cheong Zhen Yuan and Jamie Koh Guan Hoe, 37, were charged with 15 counts of mischief on Tuesday after they ripped badges and wheelcaps from vehicles in the basement carpark of Tanamera Crest condo in Changi. The Condominium is Cheong’s residence, in which he commited the 1st 14 of his offences in the early hours of 12th December in 2012. Two days later, on the 14th December 2012, they committed their final offence by removing a BMW's front and rear badges. The BMW was parked at the basement carpark of Grand Park Orchard Hotel when the duo committed the crime.

Depending on the car, the cost of repairs ranged from $16 to $237. In total, they caused damage totalling $1,306.

If found guilty, they could be jailed for up to one year and/or fined on each charge
