SG: 10 minute walk to NSL extension from Cruise Centre

Those who have dropped off at the Marina Bay Cruise Centre may have to spend upwards of 10 minutes to walk to the new Marina South Pier MRT Station. The station, built as part of the NSL extension, was designed to serve the cruise centre roughly 600m away. The transfer wouldn’t be as seemless as previously thought, although a ‘scenic and convenient stroll’ can be taken to access the new station courtesy of a sheltered walkway. It isn’t exactly what you call convenient, but at least the walkway ensures passengers can enter and exit the cruise centre in relative comfort. Granted it can be up to 300m closer, but 600m in a sheltered walkway doesn’t seem too far right?Pictures used for illustration purposes only.
