Right-Hand Drive XPENG X9 Makes Global Debut In Singapore
7-seater MPV available for purchase from end-January 2025.
XPENG Motors has revealed its seven-seater MPV, the XPENG X9, at Singapore Motorshow 2025.
It’s a global debut for its right-hand drive model (Chinese market vehicles are left-hand drive), which sends a strong statement of intent to the region - a differentiation in strategy perhaps given that most Chinese brands tend to have regional launches in Thailand - a manufacturing hub for right-hand drive Chinese vehicle exports to the world.
800V architecture
The XPENG X9 is a futuristic seven-seater luxury MPV built on XPENG's SEPA2.0 platform with 800V architecture. Measuring 5,293mm in length and 1,988mm in width, it offers two battery options: 84.5 kWh with a range of up to 480km and 101.15kWh with up to 575km. The X9 features fast charging, reaching 80% in 20 minutes.
Rear wheel steering
It’s available in Standard and Long-Range variants and achieves a top speed of 200km/h, with 235kW of peak power and 450Nm. 0 to 100 km/h is dispatched in 7.7 seconds. The X9 also features rear-wheel turning tech, giving it a turning radius of 5.4 metres.
Up to a whopping 2,554 litres of luggage space
It can be configured into a four-seater by electrically folding the third-row seats, expanding its boot space from 755 to 2,554 litres.
