Porsche’s Brand Space In Singapore Savours The Journey, Not The Destination

Porsche’s Brand Space In Singapore Savours The Journey, Not The Destination

Curvistan exhibition reimagined at Porsche’s temporary experiential space at Mandala Club

23 Feb 2023

Remember feasting your eyes on that multi-million dollar Porsche race car at Mandala Club? The Porsche 550 Spyder should be en route to safe storage at the Porsche Museum, making way for another sports car Porsche claims is perfect “for savouring the drive rather than the destination” - the 911 Sport Classic.

Porsche’s experiential brand space on the ground floor of Mandala Club is currently Curvistan – a publicly-accessible exhibition, event space and hangout all rolled into one.

Now into its second edition, Curvistan is refreshed with a new theme – one that savours the joy of the journey rather than the destination. The space looks back on 11 years of Curves Magazine – the “car magazine without cars“ by founder and creative mind Stefan Bogner.

”By not showing cars across the pages of Curves, readers are immersed into the journey,“ Bogner says on his approach to the magazine. “The idea of going on a journey, whether literally in a car, or proverbially through life – is one to be savoured, relished and at times, captured beautifully. We hope that visitors taking in the exhibition will be inspired to see the world and create unforgettable memories – to come away refreshed and recharged for what lies ahead.”

Curvistan ‘On Roads’ promises to bring visitors around the world from 22 February to 12 March 2023, as beautifully-captured photos of the most magnificent drives from Curves Magazine adorn the walls of the space.

The photography theme is further underscored by the presence of vintage camera displays by legendary German manufacturer Leica – partnering with Porsche on the back of a shared passion for creating unforgettable experiences and memories.

To bolster the eclectic and vintage atmosphere at Curvistan, a curated beverage menu has been prepared featuring iconic apéritif Campari. This includes celebrated classics such as the Negroni and for those driving, its non-alcoholic sibling, the Credino.
