As the motorsport season takes centre stage in Singapore, Porsche unveils its groundbreaking all-electric GT4 e-Performance model in the city-state for the first time. This vehicle boasts a ballistic power output of up to 800 kW (1,088 PS), delivering lap times that rival the current 911 GT3 Cup. Porsche's intention is to utilise this prototype as a means to showcase their vision of sustainable customer motorsport in the future while still captivating motorsport enthusiasts.

Enthusiasts have the opportunity to get up close and personal with the GT4 e-Performance at the Porsche NOW pop-up location at Guoco Tower from now until September 17. For those eager to experience the prototype's performance in the virtual realm, a special racing simulator has been established in collaboration with the E-Sports team Legion of Racers. Here, participants can engage in a time-attack challenge with the GT4 e-Performance on the Nürburgring GP circuit. With exclusive prizes available for the top daily times, aspiring racing drivers are encouraged to push their limits and set their best laps.

The public first witnessed the power of the new Porsche GT4 e-Performance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed last year. Since then, the GT4 e-Performance has embarked on a global tour to showcase the potential of this cutting-edge vehicle concept and the associated racing formats to motorsport customer teams, partners and decision-makers within the motorsport community.

The GT4 e-Performance incorporates the technological components from the Mission R, a concept unveiled at the 2021 IAA MOBILITY event in Munich, which outlined the vision for a fully-electric GT racing car tailored for future customer motorsport. Both vehicles share the chassis of the 718 GT4 Clubsport. The electric motor and battery technology deployed in the GT4 e-Performance are derived from the IAA conceptual study, delivering a maximum output of up to 800 kW (1,088 PS) in qualification mode.
