Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid And Panamera GTS Revealed
Deliveries in Singapore will commence towards the end of 2024.
Is the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid the most powerful Panamera ever?
Yes - the new Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid is the most powerful Panamera model to date. It features a V8 biturbo engine with 441kW (600PS), complemented by an electric motor integrated into the PDK's cooling system, delivering 140kW (190PS).
Compared to its predecessor, the total system output has increased by 75kW (102PS) to 575kW (782PS), with torque rising by 150Nm to 1,000Nm. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 325 km/h.
Distinctively Turbo, nothing less
Porsche positions its Turbo models as the ultimate in performance, distinguished by a bespoke rear bumper and front end painted to match the body colour, complemented by Dark Bronze chrome-plated tailpipes. The Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid features Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) with yellow calipers as standard, with Acid Green available as a signature E-Hybrid color.
Exclusive to Turbo models, Turbonite metallic grey accents adorn the front airblades, rear bumper strip and 21-inch Panamera Turbo S wheels, extending to the interior trim, controls and steering wheel, with Turbonite contrast stitching highlighting the seats and dashboard.
How is the Panamera GTS positioned in the Panamera lineup?
The GTS designation by Porsche denotes models focused on enhancing sportiness and driving pleasure without compromising daily usability. The Panamera GTS exemplifies this with a finely tuned chassis for high performance, an exclusive SportDesign package and a sporty yet luxurious interior.
It is renowned for its direct and agile handling in the luxury sports sedan segment. The upgraded V8 biturbo engine delivers robust power delivery throughout the rev range, notably above 6,000 rpm, providing a markedly intense driving experience.
Is the Panamera GTS powerful?
For sure - its engine outputs 368kW (500PS), 20PS more than its predecessor. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds with a top speed of 302 km/h. The car includes a standard sports exhaust system.
What has Porsche done to improve the Panamera GTS’s agility?
Porsche has tuned the standard dual-chamber two-valve air suspension with PASM in the Panamera GTS for a notably sporty feel. This includes lowering the body by 10mm, strengthening the anti-roll bars to enhance directness and adjusting the spring rate. The electronically controlled PTV Plus differential lock optimises torque distribution between wheels, ensuring greater stability and reduced body movements.
How much are the Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid and the Panamera GTS in Singapore?
In Singapore, prices for the Panamera GTS start at S$922,268 and at S$1,230,268 for the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid. Deliveries in Singapore will commence towards the end of 2024. Both are indicative pricing, excluding COE.
