Porsche displays historic 917K at ION Orchard
In conjunction with the annual Singapore Formula One Grand Prix and the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia race this month, Porsche Singapore has organized a rare display of two of its most extraordinary race cars—the Porsche 917 KH Coupé and the new Porsche 919 Hybrid—right in the heart of the country at ION Orchard. Porsche has always been synonymous with race-winning sports cars, and there is no better way to celebrate its rich motorsports heritage than by bringing in the two race cars that best represent the Porsche DNA to Singapore during the For-mula One Grand Prix weekend.
The 919 Hybrid was specially built for the FIA World Endurance Championship and for Le Mans, and it offers solid proof that hybrids can enjoy a place on the race track. The 917 KH, meanwhile, is one of the fastest race cars ever built. Winner of many prestigious races over the years, the 917 KH has an amazing track record that speaks for itself.
