Entry level Porsche Macan is rear-wheel drive, and for very good reason…

Porsche's new all-electric Macan SUV features a 100kWh high-voltage battery and is powered by a rear-axle motor similar to the Macan 4. This motor delivers 250kW (340PS) of power. With Launch Control, the Macan boosts its power to 265kW (360PS) and achieves a maximum torque of 563Nm.

It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds and has a top speed of 220 km/h. The absence of all-wheel drive makes the Macan 110kg lighter than the Macan 4, improving its efficiency and contributing to a combined WLTP range of up to 641km.

Porsche Macan 4S is positioned at the higher-powered end of the Macan spectrum

The Porsche Macan 4S boasts a new rear-axle motor with a 600-amp SiC pulse inverter, combined with a front-axle motor to deliver 330kW (448PS) and up to 380kW (516PS) in overboost. It achieves a maximum torque of 820Nm with Launch Control, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 240 km/h.

With a combined WLTP range of up to 606km, it features Porsche Active Suspension Management, adaptive air suspension, Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus and rear-axle steering for enhanced performance and comfort. The Macan 4S also incorporates the second-generation Macan’s aerodynamic design and 800-volt architecture, allowing its battery to charge from 10% to 80% in about 21 minutes at fast-charging stations with a DC charging capacity of up to 270kW.

New colour, wheels and off-road design package

Porsche has introduced a new exterior colour, Slate Grey Neo, for all Macan models and added a 20-inch Macan S wheel to the lineup. An optional off-road design package enhances everyday usability, with modifications like a redesigned front bumper increasing the approach angle to 17.4 degrees and adaptive air suspension raising ground clearance by 10mm to 195mm. The package, available in Vesuvius Grey or the car's exterior colour, includes painted front bumpers, side skirts, diffuser panels, roof railings and matching 21-inch off-road wheels.

Information about pricing and deliveries of the new Macan models in Singapore will be made available at a later date.
