Performante EVOlved - Lamborghini Huracan EVO Launched

Singapore 17 April 2019 - Lamborghini’s Huracan Performante based V10 supercar, the new Lambo gets kitted out with more performance-enhancing goodies; and is the first Lamborghini to feature LDVI (Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata); a state-of-the-art predictive logic which deals with the supercar’s vehicle dynamics control. The natural breathing 5.2 litre V10, has been further uprated in output, now putting out 640hp at a screaming 8,000rpm and 600Nm of twist at 6,500rpm; employing the use of titanium intake valves and a new refined lightweight exhaust system, the EVO also produces a more aggressive exhaust note. 0-100km/h takes just 2.9 seconds, and the Huracan EVO reaches 200km/h in a blistering 9 seconds.

The new LDVI controls every aspect of the Huracan’s dynamic behaviour, and fully integrates all of the car’s dynamic systems. Built to anticipate the next move the driver makes, through accelerator, brake and steering inputs; together with gear selected, the system works together with its rear-wheel steering and torque vectoring system, to deliver perfect driving dynamics. Pitch the Huracan into the bends, and the Enhanced Lamborghini Dynamic Steering (LDS), is able to provide higher responsive, while requiring lower steering angles.

New to the car too, is an updated version of the Lamborghini Piattaforma Inerziale (LPI), a set of gyroscope sensors, located at the Huracan’s centre of gravity. The system helps to monitor lateral, longitudinal and even vertical accelerations; together with pitch, roll and yaw rate. Information is then fed into the Huracan EVO’s updated magneto rheological suspension, which then adapts accordingly.

Carrying on with the hexagonal theme, which is visible throughout exterior and interior elements, the Huracan EVO also sports an exhaust system mounted higher in the car’s rear bumper. A slotted spoiler at the rear end provides enhanced airflow, and makes the EVO model easily identifiable.

Not only elements on the bodywork has been redesigned for purposes of aerodynamics, the underbody too has gone through an extensive rework, with the Huracan EVO delivering seven times more downforce and aerodynamic efficiency than when the first generation Huracan was launched.

Twenty-inch Aesir rims shod with Pirelli P Zeros and Arancio Xanto, an iconic new Lamborghini four-layer colour are unique to the Huracan EVO. on the inside, EVO dedicated trim in Alcantara and leather are complemented with Arancio Dryope details, matching the body tone.

The Lamborghini Huracan EVO will arrive in Singapore in Q4 2019.
