Performance Motors celebrated Sime Darby's 106th Anniversary with food donation drive

The generosity of PML can be witnessed through the contributions from 254 of its public spirited employees in this Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. Translating to 63 hours of community service, the Dawn Food Donation Drive garnered close to S$19,200 worth of consumable items that would be distributed to 1,500 people from the less-fortunate segment. Bright Hill Evergreen Home, Lee Ah Mooi Age Home, Bright Vision Hospital, Ju Eng Home for Senior Citizens and Sunshine Welfare Action Mission were the five local beneficiaries in this donation drive.

A worldwide initiative spearheaded by the Sime Darby Group, the Dawn Food Donation Drive 2016 was part of the conglomerate's CSR program to commemorate its 106th birthday since its inauguration in 1910. The spectacular donation drive was coordinated in a 24-hour cycle from 9am (Malaysian time) by kick-starting the event in West of Malaysia (in Thailand and Vietnam), Kuala Lumpur and countries like the UK, Liberia, New Zealand, New Caledonia and the Solomon Islands.
