Passenger Car COEs Trending Downward for June’s Second COE Bidding Exercise.

Certificates of Entitlements (COEs) for June’s second bidding exercise ended lower again for passenger cars. This month saw 4,156 successful bids received during the month’s second bidding exercise for COEs.

Quota of 1,446 @ $34,110, down from $36,426,

Category A (cars 1,600cc and below, and have a maximum power of 130bhp),


Quota of 1,316 @ $33,900, down from $36,000,

Category B (cars above 1,600cc, and have a more than 130bhp),

Quota of 308 @ $32,001, up from $29,902,

Commercial vehicle Category C,

Quota of 527 @ $6,889, down from $7,001,

Motorcycle Category D,

Quota of 559 @ $34,400, down from $37,000,

Open Category E (All but motorcycles),

Bids can be submitted through the Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) of DBS/POSB and the Internet Banking facilities of UOB or Maybank, do ensure that you have bank accounts with these participating banks.

The bid deposit for COEs in Categories A, B, C and E is $10,000 per bid while that for Category D is $200 per bid.
