The new Opel Mokka-e impresses not only with its bold and pure design (an attribute we found appealing when we drove the petrol-propelled Mokka mid this year), but also with its performance. The electric motor with 97 kW/130 hp and 260Nm of maximum torque claims to deliver a powerful, almost silent drive. Thanks to the 50 kWh battery, up to 363km is possible without a charging stop. The electronically limited top speed is 150km/h.

Regenerative braking makes the Mokka-e even more efficient, allowing the electric vehicle to recuperate energy during deceleration or braking. The battery can be recharged up to 80 per cent in 30 minutes at a 50 kW DC charging station.

Mokka-e’s Drive Mode Selector gives you even greater control over vehicle handling, range and running costs. The driver can select SPORT for maximum performance and comfort, NORMAL for a drive balanced between performance and efficiency, and ECO for maximum range and energy efficiency.

The new Mokka-e stays true to Opel's brand-defining tradition of making innovative technologies from higher market segments available to a wide range of buyers. These include advanced systems such as Driver Drowsiness System, Lane Keep Assist, Park Pilot, Forward Collision Alert, Automatic Emergency Braking and much more. The Mokka-e will come equipped with an electric parking brake and Traffic Sign Recognition as standard. A 180-degree rear view camera, Automatic Park Assist, Flank Guard and Side Blind Spot Alert are available as optional extras.

The new Mokka-e will join the Vivaro-e, Combo-e and Zafira-e Life as the newest member of Opel’s all-electric family.
