The latest Volkswagen Golf GTI has arrived in Singapore, delivering 265 PS - that’s 20PS more than its predecessor. Key exterior features include new LED headlights, an illuminated VW logo and 19-inch wheels. Inside, there’s a revamped infotainment system with a free-standing touchscreen and IDA voice assistant.
Pure ICE power
Its 2.0-litre turbo engine with 370Nm of torque delivers 265PS. Equipped with a familiar, effective fast-shifting seven-speed DSG, it’s helped by an electronic differential lock to sprint from 0 to 100km/h in 5.9 seconds.
Twin chrome exhausts
Updated IQ.LIGHT LED matrix headlights offer 15% greater high beam range. 19-inch Queenstown alloy wheels are inspired by the classic Detroit wheel (most commonly found on Mk 5 and 6 GTIs). The twin chrome exhaust pipes (which we reckon purists would highly approve), body-colored GTI bumpers, and signature honeycomb air intake further emphasise its sporty look.

The new Volkswagen Golf GTI features a revised interior with premium front sports seats, adjustable lumbar support and “Vienna” leather inserts. Red stitching accents the seats, armrest, floor mats and steering wheel, reflecting its GTI heritage. Unique details include a pulsating red Engine Start/Stop button and brushed stainless steel pedal caps.
