New Qoros CEO Presents International Premiere Of New City SUV

Chinese car brand, Qoros, made a major impact at the 85th Annual Geneva Motor Show. New Chief Executive Officer Phil Murtaugh announced the brand’s plans for 2015, and presented the international premiere of the Qoros 3 City SUV and QorosQloud 2.0 – its ground-breaking connected services platform. In an update on its international strategy, Qoros announced that it is in discussions to expand its operations in the Central European region and to start sales in the Middle East in the next 12-18 months. Further expansion into Europe will happen step-by-step, but the primary focus for the current year remains building brand awareness and sales in China.

Qoros confirmed that it will further broaden its product range with new models in the compact segment as well as in new market segments, and that the brand is developing advanced technologies including hybrid and electric drive systems for installation into its model range in the future.

QorosQloud 2.0

Visitors to the Geneva Motor Show were able to see QorosQloud 2.0 brought to life through a special edition show car, a dynamic doorless interpretation of the production Qoros 3 City SUV. Through a completely open side and a transparent roof, show goers could see the Qoros trademark MMH screen and take a closer look at the upgrades to QorosQloud.

QorosQloud 2.0 will be introduced later in March 2015 for all current subscribers as a free upgrade
