New models and new logo for Fiat

Fiat seems to be on a roll – it launched the new Brava and Linea, two important mid-range models, and also a new logo. From a company that used to have five diagonal stripes as its corporate identity, the new logo consists of white letters on a red background. There is a history behind this new Fiat identity – it stems from the logo that used to adorn Fiats from the early 30s to the late 60s, the brand’s golden years in many peoples eyes. The first Fiat to get this new identity will be the new Brava, which should be launched in the later half of 2007. The new logo’s red colouring certainly bodes well for Fiat in Asia and China, where it symbolises good fortune and luck.
