How much is the new Mercedes-Benz CLA in Singapore?

CLA 180 Progressive will be S$255,888 with COE, while the CLA 200 AMG Line is priced at S$332,888 with COE.

Tell me what’s new on the outside.

The updated design of the car includes a new front apron, a revised radiator grille with a star pattern, and a new rear diffuser to enhance its sporty appearance. It also features new graphics in the standard LED High Performance headlamps and LED rear lights. More customisation options are available, such as exclusive paint colours like hyper blue for CLA models, spectral blue, and three new wheel-rim designs up to 19 inches in size.

How about the cabin?

The new CLA Coupé offers a leather steering wheel, an enhanced Driver Assistance Package, and an electrified powertrain (mild hybrid). Passengers can enjoy “ARTICO” fabric seats, a new MBUX system, and the option of an immersive sound system with Dolby Atmos similar to what's found in the EQS SUV.

Mercedes-Benz has improved the standard equipment for CLA 180 and CLA 200 variants, which now come with Highbeam Assist, a reversing camera, USB package, leather steering wheel, LED front headlamps and the Parking and Mirror Package included for customers.

Is the Mercedes-Benz CLA a mild hybrid?

Yes. The petrol engines are now electrified and feature four-cylinder units with a standard 7-speed DCT automatic transmission. These engines are mild hybrids, with an additional 48-volt on-board power supply that provides 10 kW more power for enhanced start-up agility. They also include a new belt-driven starter-generator.

The CLA 180 Progressive’s 1.3-litre motor churns out 130hp and 230Nm with mild hybrid assistance. It sprints to 100km/h in 9.4 seconds, and attains a fuel efficiency of 16km/l. The CLA 200 AMG Line (not the full-blown AMG) is powered also by a 1.3-litre engine, but it’s tuned to produce 163hp and 230Nm. Century sprints are dispatched in 8.4 seconds, and achieves the same 16km/l fuel efficiency on the combined cycle.
