“At BMW, we firmly believe in the power of choice,” said Lars Nielsen, Managing Director, BMW Group Asia. “Regardless of the drivetrain, the emotional experience behind the wheel of a BMW Series 4 Series is ever present. Here in Singapore, our customers expect a superior drive and stylish companion for all occasions. Therefore, with these fresh updates, we are confident that the new BMW i4 and new BMW 4 Series Gran Coupé will continue to set the benchmark in the premium midsize class.”

Same same, but different

The new BMW i4 and BMW 4 Series Gran Coupé showcase a refreshed front-end design featuring slim headlights and a vertically arranged kidney grille that extends toward the road. The kidney grille surround is now finished in matte chrome.

For the i4, the grille's upper section is fully enclosed due to the electric drive's low cooling requirements, featuring a black high-gloss surface and a matte-silver honeycomb pattern below. In contrast, the combustion-engine version of the 4 Series Gran Coupé has air intakes with a mesh structure, now painted in matte Quartz Silver.

New paint choices

The BMW i4 and BMW 4 Series Gran Coupé introduce new exterior paint options, including Cape York Green metallic and Fire Red metallic, alongside a range of BMW Individual and special paint finishes. The 4 Series Gran Coupé features standard 18-inch M aerodynamic wheels, while the i4 is equipped with 19-inch M aerodynamic wheels. The i4 M50 xDrive comes standard with 19-inch M light-alloy wheels.

Standard M leather steering wheel

This three-spoke wheel features a flat-bottom rim and a 12 o’clock centre marking. The 4 Series Gran Coupé comes standard with gearshift paddles. In the i4 M50 xDrive, the M leather steering wheel is further enhanced with decorative stitching in BMW M colours and a red centre marker.

Charging the i4 in Singapore

A BMW Wallbox for home charging is complimentary, enabling fast charging at rates of up to 22kW. For public charging, customers receive a subscription package of 10,000kWh over three years at Shell Recharge stations, equivalent to approximately 50,000km of driving range.

BMW Charging provides access to a network of public charging stations across Singapore, with payment and activation available through an RFID card or the Shell Recharge app.

I need to know their sprint times!

BMW 420i Gran Coupé (S$331,888) does 0 to 100km/h in 7.9 seconds. The BMW i4 eDrive35 (S$337,888) achieves it notably faster in 6 seconds, while the top-of-the-line BMW i4 M50 xDrive (S$445,888) with an immense 544hp and 795Nm hits the century mark in 3.9 seconds.
