Most COE Premiums Rise In First COE Bidding Exercise of April 2024
Cat B and E COEs breach the six figure mark yet again.
The latest premium for Category A cars, or those 1,600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp closed at S$89,000, an increase of S$3,511 from the previous tender.
Premiums for large cars in Category B (above 1,600cc or 97kW) ended higher at S$101,334, an increase of S$5,323 from the previous result.
COEs for commercial vehicles, including goods vehicles and buses, decreased by S$2,611 to S$67,501.
In the motorcycle category, the premium experienced an increase of S$311, to S$10,000.
In the open category (Category E), which can be used for any type of vehicles but often end up being used for big cars, premiums increased by S$5,146, to S$101,002.
