MINI Asia celebrates the premiere of the first-ever MINI Aceman, a crossover for the premium small car segment. This vehicle embodies Sir Alec Issigonis’ vision of maximising space in a compact design, comfortably seating 5 within just over 4 metres.

Staying true to compact proportions

At 4.07 metres long, 1.75 metres wide, and 1.50 metres high, it’s positioned between the MINI Cooper and Countryman. Its streamlined front, short overhangs and two-box design highlight the brand's "Clever Use of Space" principle.

How much do they cost?

Two variants are available for the Singapore market. The Aceman E will set you back S$215,888, while the Aceman SE costs S$239,888.

What’s the difference between these 2 variants?

The Aceman E houses a 42.5kWh battery pack, and it pushes 110kW and 290Nm. 0 - 100km/h is dispatched in 9.2 seconds, on to a top speed of 160km/h. Range is rated at 310km and it takes 4.15 hours to charge to 100% from an empty battery. For S$24,000 more, you’ll get a “SE” spec with a larger 54.2kWh battery. 0 - 100km/h arrives in 7.1 seconds. Power is rated at 160kW and 330Nm. You’ll also get more range (407km), but charge time will increase (5.5hours).

So how much space do we have?

The rear of the MINI Aceman comfortably seats 3 passengers, and the 60:40 folding rear seat backrest enables the luggage compartment to expand from 300 litres to 1,005 litres when needed.

MINI OS 9, standard

The familiar circular OLED display in the MINI Aceman enhances the interior with its 240mm diameter, flat design and premium glass surface. MINI Operating System 9 allows intuitive control of driving functions through touch or voice. The MINI Interaction Unit functions similarly to a smartphone.

It’s a gear selector, not HVAC controls

Key driving functions such as parking brake, gear selector, start/stop key, experience mode toggle and volume control are accessed through 5 toggles, eliminating the need for an extra gear selector - creating additional storage space in the centre console. This area includes cup holders and a tray for wireless smartphone charging.
