Mercedes-Benz Singapore continued its support of GREEN-HOUSE for the second year with the "Crafting a Better Tomorrow" showcase, emphasising sustainability. Sustainability is integral to Mercedes-Benz's growth strategy, covering development, supply chain, vehicle use and disposal. The brand aims to reduce negative impacts and achieve circularity in its operations.

What is Ambition 2039?

Under Ambition 2039, Mercedes-Benz aims for full carbon neutrality by 2039 and plans for EVs to dominate sales by 2030. In 2023, they invested 10 billion euros in innovative, resource-conscious materials and technologies. Since 2022, all vehicles produced in their own plants have been manufactured on a carbon-neutral basis.

How “electrified” is Mercedes-Benz’s car fleet in Singapore?

Over 80% of Mercedes-Benz's new car fleet has electrified drivetrains. Mercedes-Benz shares GREEN-HOUSE's commitment to sustainability and actively participates in community events promoting green living and sustainable lifestyles.

Functional art pieces from used car parts

At GREEN-HOUSE 2024, guests at The Factory space encountered Circling Zero, an art exhibition commissioned by Knock Knock Studio and Mercedes-Benz Singapore. Mercedes-Benz's circular design theme was demonstrated by transforming used car parts into functional art pieces.

Pop-up cafe by Mercedes-Benz

The Mercedes-Benz Kantine pop-up café, in collaboration with FURA, offered a plant-based menu curated by Christina Rasmussen, featuring dishes like the Dogless Hotdog and drinks like Cult Goop, emphasising fun and sustainable practices in both food and flatware.

Reconnecting with nature

The Lawn featured a campground by Mercedes-Benz and Helinox, encouraging guests to reconnect with nature. Visitors enjoyed picnics, participated in a pet photoshoot contest and stood a chance to win an exclusive camping set.

Test drives, of course!

The Reconnect zone also featured the Tomorrow Drives Mercedes-Benz experience, where guests test drove a range of models like the EQA, EQS Saloon and Mercedes-AMG EQE 53.
