If you've been following the tech world religiously, you’ll almost certainly come across tech reviews from popular American YouTuber Marques Brownlee. And if you’re an avid follower, there’s a chance you might even be keen to cop his line of merch, most of which are designed to look stealthy, as the Matte Black Everything wristband and Dark Mode alpine flask would suggest.

It’s no surprise too that Apple’s “Wonderlust” event opened with his opinions on the Macbook Air. It’s apparent that his influence has skyrocketed - will we see a Matte Black Everything Apple Watch Ultra 2? Your guess is as good as mine. When can I preorder Apple Watch Ultra 2? You can do it now, and expect shipping to commence from 22 September. A blacked-out version just ain’t available yet…

Clearly, this dark theme has caught on not only in consumer tech, but within the “untouchable” realms of Formula 1 too. McLaren Racing and OKX, a prominent Web3 technology company and the Official Primary Partner of the McLaren Formula 1 Team, have unveiled a special Stealth Mode livery design that will adorn the McLaren MCL60 F1 cars during the 2023 Singapore Grand Prix and the 2023 Japanese Grand Prix.

The creation of the Stealth Mode livery was a collaborative effort between OKX and McLaren. It introduces a shift in McLaren's traditional livery colors, incorporating a prominent black element alongside the team's classic papaya trim. This elegant and subtle design reflects both brands' commitment to working diligently behind the scenes in pursuit of excellence, while also embracing change and innovation.

A limited-edition t-shirt featuring the Stealth Mode design will be accessible through the McLaren Store and will be available as a limited giveaway for participants at Token2049, the Web3 conference happening in Singapore before the race.

To provide fans with a closer experience of Stealth Mode, OKX will host an exclusive McLaren-themed fan zone named the OKX Race Club at Chijmes in Singapore. The OKX Race Club will run from Thursday, September 14th, to Sunday, September 17th, and will feature a Stealth Mode show car, racing simulators, giveaways, and surprise guest appearances throughout the race weekend.
