Maserati GranTurismo Modena’s V6 engine is a work of art…

The GranTurismo Modena features a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 engine incorporating Maserati Twin Combustion (MTC) technology, originally used in the MC20 and derived from F1 engines. The GranTurismo's design, with its elongated front section and sporty shape, is the result of specific technical choices. It’s all wheel drive, and the front differential is aligned with the engine, allowing for a lower engine position and better mass distribution.

Maserati GranTurismo Folgore’s electric drivetrain is something else…

The GranTurismo Folgore represents Maserati's commitment to electric mobility while maintaining high performance. It uses 800-volt technology for optimal performance and charging efficiency. The Folgore is powered by three motors - one in the front and two in the rear - delivering over 1200CV. These motors, designed exclusively for Maserati, offer high power density and are driven by silicon carbide inverters from Formula E. The independent rear motors enable precise torque vectoring, adjusting the car's rotation during acceleration, deceleration and braking.

Although it made its global debut back in 2022, it still remains an intriguing option for supercar owners that want a different flavour to their “traditional” fleet. Here are 6 must-know facts about the GranTurismo.
