Audi Singapore has appointed Martin Bayer as its new Managing Director amidst their shift to a direct-to-consumer business model. This transition coincides with the grand opening of Audi House of Progress Singapore, their new flagship showroom and lifestyle destination.

Martin brings over 26 years of experience with Audi Group. Previously, as Director of Sales for Latin America and Eastern Europe at AUDI AG, he oversaw 30 markets, pioneered direct sales in Brazil and Argentina, led BEV transformation and introduced Audi’s progressive showroom concepts.

Martin also has gained extensive automotive experience at AUDI AG across brand, product and sales roles. He has led product marketing and sales for the Audi A4, A5 and Q5 in Germany, managed financial services operations, restructured VIP sales and directed Product Marketing at Audi Italia.

As Managing Director of Audi Singapore, Martin will lead the brand’s shift to a direct-to-consumer retail model - a first for Audi globally. He will oversee omnichannel strategy, strengthen competitive positioning and enhance customer experience with the launch of Audi House of Progress Singapore and a new online retail platform.
