Local News: COE Results for February Round 1
Certificates of Entitlement (COE) have closed lower in most categories except in Cat D following this round of bidding.
Category A (Cars under 1,600cc) segment COEs closed $3,901 lower this round at $87,109.
Elsewhere across the board, prices declined with Category B (cars over 1,600cc) COEs falling by $2,600 to close at $92,901.
Prices in the Category E (Open Category) have decreased by $2,999 to finish at $94,890.

Category A (Cars below 1,600cc) : $87,109 (-4.3%)
Category B (Cars above1,600cc) : $92,901 (-2.7%)
Category C (Commercial Vehicles) : $54,989 (-3.6%)
Category D (Motorcycles) : $1,782 (+0.05%)
Category E (Open) : $94,890 (-3.0%)
A total of 832 Cat A, B and E certificates were awarded in this round’s bidding exercise compared to 1008 in the last round. A total of 1,564 COEs were awarded.
