Local News: 7th generation Camry arrives
Borneo Motors today launched the all-new, seventh generation Camry.
The Camry has been touted as more luxurious and is better equipped than its predecessor. On the outside, it looks more chiseled and the additional chrome trimmings have made t look classier than previously. Inside, there's more rear legroom in addition to the extra kit and perceived quality levels. As previously, the base model is a 2-litre but big news is the 2.5 model that replaces the 2.4. Not only the 2.5 has a bigger engine, its gearbox features six gears. Also available right from the launch is the 205bhp Hybrid model.
Camry prices start from $159,988 for the 2-litre. the 2.5 is priced at $165,988 while the hybrid is going for $181,988. Prices are inclusive of COE. Despite the high COE prices, Borneo Motors have seen strong interest in the new car.
